MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Belarusian swimmer Alina Zmushka set a new national record clocking 29.62 seconds in the women's 50m breaststroke semifinal at the second leg of the Friendship Games in Kazan, Russia, BelTA has learned.
Her previous record was 29.65 seconds.
The Friendship Games first medals events will be held on 21 November. Belarusian Ilya Shymanovich will compete in the men's 100m breaststroke final after clocking the best time in the semifinal.
The tournament will last through 25 November.
