Sabalenka knocked out of Wimbledon

MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – No.2 seed Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus could not make it to the Wimbledon final, BelTA has learned.

Belarus' best tennis player was defeated by No.8 seed Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 in the Wimbledon semifinals. The match lasted 1 hour 56 minutes. On Saturday Karolina Pliskova will play Ashleigh Barty for the title.
