MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – Alina Zmushka of Belarus won three gold medals at the first stage of the Russian Swimming Cup in Kaliningrad, BelTA has learned.
Alina Zmushka claimed the champion title in the women’s 200m medley, clocking 2:16.77. Second placed Anastasia Sorokina from Krasnodar Krai. Earlier, Alina Zmushka secured victories in the women’s 100m breaststroke and the women’s 50m breaststroke.
Anastasiya Shkurdai of Belarus clocked 2:08.76 to win the women’s 200m backstroke. The Belarusian also finished second in the women’s 50m backstroke, behind the winner Alina Gaifutdinova from Kaluga Oblast. On the first competition day the Belarusian won gold in the women’s 100m backstroke.
