
MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Almost 1,800 running enthusiasts from Belarus, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Egypt took part in the third edition of the One Run international half marathon in Minsk on 24 May, BelTA has learned.
The titled Belarusian marathoner Vladislav Pryamov was victorious in the most prestigious 21.1k, race among men. He clocked 1:2:22 to win the title. Despite the rainy weather, the athlete improved his last year's “golden” result by six minutes. Yuri Kapterov crossed the finish line second, and Dmitry Shkoda rounded out the top three.
Anna Dron won the similar distance for women with a time 1:11:56. Anna Dron was two and a half minutes ahead of the reigning champion of the Minsk Half Marathon Marina Domantsevich. The bronze medal went to Anna Levonyuk. Sergei Kravchenia and Veronika Vazhnik became the winners in the 10km race. Pavel Nebyt and Anna Letun came in first in the 5km race.




On 24 May, One Run brought together more than 220,000 running enthusiasts from 25 countries: Belarus, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Brazil, Venezuela, Egypt, India, Jordan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Nepal, UAE, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Chile, Lebanon, Armenia, Tunisia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
