MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Two-time Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich and Olympic silver medalist Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya (both trampoline gymnastics) arrived home to a very warm welcome at the Minsk airport on 6 August, BelTA has learned.
"I'm very overwhelmed but very happy to be back home. I'm very glad to see so many people welcoming me. I really appreciate that they are here today," Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya said.
When asked whether he has sights on a third gold medal, Ivan Litvinovich said that now he just wants to rest. "Now you see me quite cheerful, but before that I was exhausted. So there is no such goals yet. Right now I just want to rest and take my mind off things," Ivan Litvinovich explained.
Friends and relatives of the athletes, representatives of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee, the Sport and Tourism Ministry and the national Olympic training center for gymnasticscame to Minsk National Airport to welcome the Olympians.
