MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Belarusian swimmer Alina Zmushka has completed her performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, BelTA has learned.
The Wednesday swimming program was opened with preliminary heats in the women’s 200m breaststroke featuring 23 athletes. Belarus’ Alina Zmushka touched in seventh, clocking 2:28.19. In the overall table the Belarusian placed 21st, with the 16 best athletes progressing further.
Earlier, Alina Zmushka set a new personal record in the 100m breaststroke. In the final she placed 8th. In the men’s 100m breaststroke Belarus’ Ilya Shymanovich did not qualify for the final, placing 10th in the overall standings.
