Olympics 2024: Belarus’ Litvinovich defends champion title

MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Ivan Litvinovich of Belarus won gold in trampoline at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, becoming two-time Olympic champion, BelTA has learned.

In the qualification that featured 16 athletes the Belarusian scored 63.420 to qualify to the final on the top spot. In the final Ivan Litvinovich performed seventh and scored a total of 63.090 to beat China’s Zisai Wang (61.890). Bronze went to China’s Langyu Yan. 
Three years ago Ivan Litvinovich won gold in Tokyo. 

The 23-year-old Belarusian is also the European champion and two-time world champion as well as the world silver medalist in individual events. 


Earlier, 19-year-old Belarus’ Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya won silver in the women’s trampoline.
