MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) - Belarus’ wrestler Mahamedkhabib Kadzimahamedau failed to reach the bronze-medal bout at the 2024 Paris Olympics, BelTA has learned.
On 9 August the Belarusian lost to Uzbekistan’s Razambek Zhamalov in the 74kg opening bout. His rival moved further to the final and Mahamedkhabib Kadzimahamedau got a second chance. The Belarusian beat Slovakia’s Tajmuraz Salkazanov in the first round of repechage, but lost to Chermen Valiev of Albania in the second.
