Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich returns home from Tokyo
Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich and the Belarusian national trampoline team have returned to Minsk. Ivan Litvinovich's gold in trampoline became the first medal won by Team Belarus in Tokyo. Young students of Vitebsk Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 1 will get support thanks to the athlete's success. The Tokyo Games champion has decided to allocate Br20,000 to the sports school where future Olympians are trained as part of the country's Olympic Choice project. Ivan Litvinovich, who has recently turned 20, was born in Vileika. He has recently trained at Vitebsk sports school No. 1 under the tutelage of head coach of the Belarusian national trampoline team Olga Vlasova. In 2016, this sports school also received financial support after Belarusian trampoliner Uladzislau Hancharou, also a student of the school, claimed gold at the Rio Olympics.
