NOCs of Belarus, Uzbekistan sign memorandum of understanding

MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – The National Olympic Committees of Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding in issues of sport cooperation as part of the regional forum of heads of the national Olympic committees of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Baltic states, and Georgia in Tashkent, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus' NOC.

The parties agreed to cooperate in issues of sport cooperation, organization of bilateral competitions and exchange the best practices in training athletes, coaches, judges, healthcare specialists, experts and others sport professionals.

The NOC of Belarus has already signed memorandums of understanding with 19 Olympic committees (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Jordan, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Estonia).

The regional forum of heads of the national Olympic committees of the CIS, Baltic states, and Georgia will be over on 3 November.
