MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) - Monika Hojnisz-Starega of Poland won the Women 15km Individual at the IBU Open European Championships that kicked off in Duszniki Zdroj, Poland on 27 January, BelTA has learned.
The winner clocked 45:17.1 to come first with one penalty. Second was clean-shooting Ukraine's Anastasiya Merkushina, 2.9 seconds back. Russia's Larisa Kuklina finished third, 15.5 seconds back, with one penalty.
Irina Kruchinkina of Belarus finished 52nd, 6:02.8 behind the winner (five penalties). Her teammate Adelina Sabitova was 68th, 6:57.3 back, with three penalties. Competing in the Women 15km Individual were 121 athletes.
