Minsk hosts conference on training reserves in ice hockey

MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – Minsk is hosting the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Training Sports Reserves in Ice Hockey” on 5 and 6 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.

The conference participants, including coaches, expert practitioners, candidates and doctors of sciences, as well as representatives of federations, are expected to make reports and hold master classes to present their know-how in organizing the educational and training process and its scientific support, share their personal experiences and discuss the prospects of children's and youth ice hockey.

Speeches and master classes will be delivered for the first time in Belarus by specialists from the Department of Development and Implementation of the National Hockey Training Program “Red Machine” of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Ice Hockey Development Center of St. Petersburg.

The conference has been organized by the National Olympic Committee, Sports and Tourism Ministry, Belarusian State University of Physical Education, Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports, Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation, Russian Ice Hockey Federation, Ice Hockey League of Israel and Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation.
