Minsk Christmas Ice Hockey Tournament 2022 canceled

MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) - The Christmas International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament for the Prizes of the President of Belarus will not take place in January 2022, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.

Keeping in mind restrictions on movement, the age of participants in the tournament and the current recommendations of the World Health Organization to reduce the risk of spread of viral infections, the organizers decided to cancel the event.

The competitions have been canceled for the second time in a row. As in 2021, the reason was the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
