Kremlin condemns IPC decision to ban Russia, Belarus from 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games

MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) - The Kremlin strongly condemns the decision of the International Paralympic Committee to ban Russian and Belarusian athletes from the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games. It is a shameful and monstrous situation, press secretary for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told the media, TASS reports.

“The situation is monstrous, of course. It is, of course, a shame for the International Paralympic Committee,” he said.

Dmitry Peskov pointed out that the organization made one decision yesterday, and reversed it today . “Of course, we strongly condemn the International Paralympic Committee for this decision,” the Kremlin spokesman stressed.
