MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has determined the best players of the week of the regular season, BelTA learned from the KHL press service.
HC Dinamo Minsk Jordan Gross was named best defenseman of the week for the second time in his career. The player has scored 5 (1+4) points in three matches, ending the week being plus-6. He also blocked five shots. Among the best players of the week were also Yaroslav Ozolin (best goalie, HC Neftekhimik), Josh Leivo (best forward, HC Salavat Yulaev), and Stepan Terekhov (best rookie, HC Ak Bars).
HC Dinamo Minsk finished the KHL regular season in the fourth place in the Western Conference, which is the club’s career-best result. HC Dinamo Minsk will face HC CSKA in the first round of the Gagarin Cup series. The Bisons will kick off their playoff run on home ground on 26 March.
