KHL: Dinamo Minsk secure overtime win over Vityaz

MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk edged HC Vityaz Moscow Region 4-3 overtime in the KHL regular-season match on 26 November, BelTA has learned.

Ryan Spooner opened the scoring for the Bisons 11 minutes into the game. The visitors managed to tie the game up early in the second. Yegor Sharangovich returned Dinamo its one-goal advantage late in the second stanza.

Third-period goals from Artyom Borodkin and Mattias Tedenby gave Vityaz a 3-2 lead. Ryan Spooner got his second goal of the game to tie the scores.

Roman Gorbunov brought about the winning goal for the Bisons in extra time, scoring his second goal of the season.

Dinamo Minsk will be back in action on 29 November as they open their road series against HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. The Bisons will then travel to Nizhnekamsk to take on Neftekhimik on 1 December. Dinamo Minsk will wrap up the road series against CSKA Moscow on 3 December.
