MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) – Belarus' wold number 40 Ilya Ivashka progressed into the Mallorka Open second round defeating Finland's world number 48 Emil Ruusuvuori, 6-4, 6-1, in the opener, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian will next face world number 6 Stefanos Stistipas of Greece.
In the women's doubles opener in Bad Homburg Belarus' Lidziya Marozava and Kaitlyn Christian of the United States will take on Germany's Vivian Heisen and Samantha Murray of the UK. Belarus-Slovakia duo of Aliaksandra Sasnovich and Tereza Mihalikova will face Greet Minnen of Belgium and Hungary's Anna Bondar.
The tournaments in Spain and Germany will finish on 25 June.
