MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) - HC Gomel and HC Lokomotiv Orsha claimed victories in their opening matches of the 2025 Salei Cup, BelTA has learned.
Five-time cup winner HC Gomel dominated HC Mogilev with a 7-1 victory at home. After conceding an early third-minute goal, the Lynxes responded with seven unanswered scores, including a double by Maksim Voitovich. In Orsha, HC Lokomotiv shut out HC Khimik Novopolotsk 2-0.

Earlier on 31 July, HC Slavutich edged out HC Metallurg Zhlobin 4-3 in overtime. The tournament continues on 1 August with defending champion HC Yunost Minsk hosting HC Neman (19:00) and HC Dinamo Molodechno facing HC Aviator Baranovichi (20:10).
