HC Dinamo Minsk grab away win over HC Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk have got off to a successful start at another away tour in the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) 2025/26 season, BelTA has learned.

The opener of the away series saw Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team take on HC Torpedo in Nizhny Novgorod. The HC Dinamo Minsk had a slight advantage in the first period, yet the score remained 0-0 at the first break. The hosts opened the scoring at 35 minutes with a shorthanded goal against Zach Fucale.

HC Dinamo Minsk pulled level before the second period when Vitaly Pinchuk found the net off a pass from Sam Anas, extending both forwards’ point streaks to seven matches. At the start of the third period, Vadim Shipachyov gave the Minsk Bisons the lead. The scoreboard stayed unchanged through to the final buzzer, handing HC Dinamo Minsk a 2-1 win.

With this third consecutive victory, HC Dinamo Minsk have moved into a tie with HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl for second place in the Western Conference, just one point behind leaders HC Severstal Cherepovets. The team’s next destination is the Far East. On 30 November, the Minsk Bisons will face HC Admiral Vladivostok, with the game starting at 10 a.m. Belarusian time. On 2 December, the HC Dinamo Minsk will take on HC Amur Khabarovsk.
