MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk forwards Vitaly Pinchuk and Michael Dal Colle commented on the outcome of their home game against HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the ongoing 2025/26 KHL regular season on 6 October, BelTA has learned.

In the final match of their first 2025/26 season home series at Minsk Arena, the Bisons defeated the KHL vice-champion Traktor, 4-1. Vitaly Pinchuk scored a double for the Minsk club, while Daniil Sotishvili and Michael Dal Colle each netted a goal. For the Canadian with NHL experience, this was his debut goal for Dinamo.

“It was a good game, a big win for us. It feels great to finally score my first KHL goal. I'm very happy to contribute like this after returning to the lineup. When I stepped off the bench onto the ice, I went straight to the net. Ilya Usov made a perfect pass, and all I had to do was finish the play. The first goal gives you confidence; it's a great feeling,” Michael Dal Colle said. “It took a little time to adapt, but I'm feeling more comfortable here each day. The fans have been phenomenal; I see a sell-out at every game. The fans are very loud, and it's much easier for the players to perform with that kind of support.”

“A lot of factors came together for the win. Our opponent was playing their fourth consecutive away game, while we had a few days of rest, so we looked fresher. During the intermission, the coach told us to shoot more often, that the opponent's goalie wasn't handling long-range threats too well. And that's how it played out. I shot and I scored,” said Vitaly Pinchuk. “We had a good start to the season; it's a pity we lost one game at home. We will try to win all the remaining matches in Minsk. It's much easier for us with our home crowd, and it's much tougher for our opponents here.”

Coach Dmitry Kvartalnov’s team has earned 16 points in 11 season games and currently holds third place in the conference standings. The Bisons will next head to St. Petersburg to face HC Shanghai Dragons on 9 and 11 October. HC Shanghai Dragons is right behind HC Dinamo Minsk in the Western Conference standings.
