Grodno, 29 June (BelTA) – The city over the Neman River is hosting Grand Prix Grodno, BelTA learned.
Dmitry Nagula said: “It is nice to drift in the city center again. We tested this route as a large fascinating promo was shot here. Thanks to it we saw how it can be beautiful, cool, and spectacular. The city administration invited the organizers to hold full-fledged competitions. Grand Prix Grodno is not part of Belarus’ championships; it is a separate event. This is a cool event. I do not know any other event either in Belarus or in Russia for to be held in the historical center of the city.”

The athlete added: “The track is a little shallow for us, but this will make the race more spectacular. It will not be very fast, but it will be smoky. I think it will be very cool, and everyone will remember it. Grodno residents will do for sure.”

Athlete from Omsk Stanislav Antropov said that this is the third season that he comes to Belarus for competitions. “I really like it, and I could not miss such an important event. I am here, incidentally, for the first time. Before the announcement, I looked at what to expect from the race, how the organizers introduced us, and I got very interested. It is very difficult, technical,. Less experienced pilots will find it hard to drive,” he said.

The national tournament brought together more than 20 athletes from Belarus and Russia and will be running for two days, 28-29 June.
