Goncharenko parts with FC Krasnodar

MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Head coach Viktor Goncharenko of Belarus has parted ways with FC Krasnodar (Russia), BelTA learned from the website of the Russian football team.

The official statement reads: “FC Krasnodar management has taken up a decision to dismiss head coach Viktor Goncharenko and his two assistants Vasily Berezutsky and Aleksandr Yermakovich.”

Viktor Goncharenko was appointed head coach of FC Krasnodar in April 2021. Under his tutelage FC Krasnodar played 25 matches, including 11 wins, nine draws and nine losses. After 18 tours of the Russian Football Championship FC Krasnodar go fifth with 29 points. Zenit top the table with 38 points, followed by Dynamo Moscow with 36 points, Sochi with 31 points, CSKA Moscow with 30 points.
