MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarus' Iryna Prasiantsova and Volha Silkina won the Team-Relay Women gold at the UIPM 2021 Pentathlon World Championships which is underway in Cairo, Egypt, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian athletes scored a total of 1,395 points to secure a champion title. Second were Gulnaz Gubaydullina and Uliana Batashova of Russia (1,383 points). Hungary's Rita Erdos and Sarolta Simon took bronze.
The UIPM 2021 Pentathlon World Championships in Cairo is the final qualifying event for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The competitions will last through 14 June.
