Five Belarusian biathletes to compete in Men 20km Individual in Antholz

MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – Italy's Antholz will host the Men 20km Individual as part of BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon on 22 January, BelTA has learned.

The first out of five Belarusian biathletes to hit the track will be Dzmitry Lazouski who will start 15th. Anton Smolski will start 38th, Sergey Bocharnikov 41st, Maksim Varabei 80th, and Mikita Labastau 84th. The event will feature 97 athletes. The starting time is 15.15. The race will be broadcast live on Belarus 5.

Austria's Lisa Theresa Hauser won the Women 15km Individual on 21 January. Ukraine's Yulia Dzhima finished second, and Anais Chevalier-Bouchet of France came in third. Belarus' Dzinara Alimbekava placed 8th, Hanna Sola – 32nd, Iryna Kryuko – 42nd, Elena Kruchinkina 72nd.

On Saturday, 23 January, Antholz will host the Women 12.5km Mass Start and Men 4x7.5km Relay. Women 4x6km Relay and Men 15km Mass Start will wrap up the event in Italy on 24 January.
