MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) – The fencing federations of Belarus and Russia have signed an agreement on cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Fencing Federation.
The document provides for measures to strengthen and reinforce cooperation in fencing development. They include joint tournaments and training events on the territory of both countries; popularization of fencing; organization of informational and methodical work, seminars, master classes and other forms of experience exchange; development of joint training programs and calendar plans as well as efforts to keep fencing in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code requirements.
The agreement is valid for the period from 2022 to 2028.
