Dmitry Lukashenko inaugurates sports ground in Nesvizh

MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) - There will be many such projects, Chairman of the Central Council of the Presidential Sports Club Dmitry Lukashenko said at the opening ceremony of a multi-purpose sports ground at Kolas Nesvizh State College on 8 June, BelTA has learned.

“Today we have witnessed the opening of a multi-purpose sports ground in this beautiful historical place. Such projects will be many. Every district of Minsk Oblast will get such a sports ground. It may be slightly different, but in principle they all will be the same,” said Dmitry Lukashenko.

He thanked everyone who was involved in the construction of the sports ground and the landscaping of the surrounding area. “Both college teachers and students worked here. It is really great. Thank you very much. Let this sports ground become a center of attraction not only for the students, but also for the residents and visitors of your beautiful city. Do sports!” said Dmitry Lukashenko.

The sports ground was opened as part of the Sport for All project of the Presidential Sports Club. The initiative was launched in July 2021. The project envisages the construction of Street Workout sports grounds accessible for teenagers and adults, including people with disabilities (para-workout). Plans are in place to open grounds for workout and other sports. The goal and the main idea of the project is to make sport accessible to all.
