Belarusian representatives elected to EOC Commissions

MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – Three representatives of Belarus has been elected to the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Commissions, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.

Polina Golovina has joined the EOC Sustainability Commission, Irina Malevanaya – EOC Medical and Anti-Doping Commission. Kseniya Sankovich will continue her work in the EOC Gender Equality in Sport Commission.

The EOC Executive Committee held its meeting in Samorin, Slovakia to hear out reports on the preparations for the 3rd European Games in 2023, present and approve members of the EOC standing commissions. Vasily Yurchik, the head of the International Relations Department of the Belarus NOC, and Georg Katulin, a member of the EOC Executive Committee, took part in the EOC Executive Committee meeting and the 41st EOC seminar.

The seminar also comprised presentations of the best practices of the athletes' commissions of different Olympic committees and also reports on the European Youth Olympic Festivals (EYOF).
