MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) - The National Olympic Committee of Belarus is closely monitoring the situation and is working in close contact with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee and the International Olympic Committee, BelTA learned from the Belarusian NOC press service.
As it has been reported, the coaching staff of the national athletics team decided to withdraw Krystsina Tsimanouskaya from the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in connection with her emotional and psychological state.
The press service emphasize that in accordance with the NOC Charter and the Olympic Charter, the NOC of Belarus shall continue to defend and protect the interests of all Belarusian athletes from any forms of discrimination, if any.
