MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) - Belarusian archers won four medals at the Golden Autumn international tournament in Lvov, Ukraine, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Olympic Shooting Center.
The Belarusian archers claimed two medals in the men's team event. Aliaksandr Liagusheu, Anton Prilepau and Raman Nikitionak beat the Lvov team 28-27 to take gold. Anton Karoukin, Pavel Dalidovich and Sviatsslau Tsarankou won bronze. Aliaksandr Liagusheu topped the men's individual event.
The Belarusian team comprising Aliaksandra Kuratnik, Natallia Tretsiak and Nina Sobal defeated the Team of Regions of Ukraine and the Lvov team to secure gold in the women's team event.
The Golden Autumn tournament is one of the oldest sports competitions held in Lvov. It began its history in 1964. Competing at this year's tournament were some 300 athletes from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Slovakia, Poland, 13 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kiev.
