
MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) - Brest hosted an IBA PRO 5 professional boxing tournament, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
The tournament featured boxers from Belarus, Russia, Belgium, Moldova, Namibia, DR Congo and Ecuador. In the main event of the night Belarusian boxer Aliaksei Alfiorau defeated Belgium’s Lee Ingelrest to become the new IBA Pro light heavyweight world champion.
Belarus’ Yulia Apanasovich defeated Russian Elena Savelyeva, and Vladislav Smyaglikov prevailed over Congolese Chapiteau Dimuntu in his debut fight in professional boxing.
