MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) - Belarus’ Maryna Zuyeva won two medals at the 11th All-Russian Boris Shavyrin Memorial Speed Skating Competitions in Kolomna, Russia, BelTA has learned.
On the final day of the tournament, the women competed for medals in the 5000-meter distance. The Belarusian skater clocked 7:03.07 to clinch the victory, finishing almost a second ahead of the runner-up, Ksenia Korzhova from Murmansk Oblast. The third place was taken by Irina Salnikova, a representative of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
Earlier, Maryna Zuyeva won silver in the 3000-meter event.
