MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 225 Yuliya Hatouka has advanced to the Open de Oeiras semifinal after seeing off Romania's world number 733 Andreea Mitu, 6-3, 6-3, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian will next face world number 107 Viktoriya Tomova of Bulgaria.
Yuliya Hatouka cruised past Poland's world number 147 Katarzyna Kawa, 6-2, 6-1, in the opener, and then beat Russia's world number 74 Varvara Gracheva, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
In the doubles semifinal Belarus' Vera Lapko and Eva Lys of Germany lost to Kimberley Zimmermann of Belgium and Katarzyna Piter of Poland, 3-6, 4-6.
The tournament in Oeiras will finish on 10 April.
