Belarus' Yevgeny Dolgolevets claims victory at professional boxing event in Minsk

MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) - Belarus' Yevgeny Dolgolevets celebrated a victory at the professional boxing event in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian athlete outclassed Ukraine's Vladislav Baranov with a technical knockout in the first round.

Other Belarusian boxers were not so lucky. Ruslan Rodzivich was stopped by Askar Zhantursunov from Kazakhstan in the first round. His compatriot Zhandos Kydyraliev picked up a technical knockout victory over Arseniy Kobzev in the second round.

Russia's Elnur Samedov defeated his fellow compatriot Aleksandr Podolsky with a technical knockout in the eighth round. Russia's Dmitry Chudinov was knocked out by Germaine Brown of the UK.

Former IBF and IBO boxing world champion in light welterweight, Russian Eduard Troyanovsky defeated French Renal Garrido.
