Belarus win three medals at Josef Odlozil Memorial in Czech Republic

MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won three medals at the annual track and field meeting Josef Odlozil Memorial in Prague, the Czech Republic, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.

Javelin throwers secured two medals. Pavel Mialeshka won the event with 85.06m and secured an Olympic slot.

Aliaksei Katkavets finished second with 82.91m. Vitezslav Vesely of the Czech Republic was third with 82.63m.

Iryna Zhuk of Belarus won the pole vault event with 4.65m. Ukraine's Maryna Kylypko placed second with 4.45m. Bronze went to Amalie Svabikova of the Czech Republic.
