MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarus won six medals at the 2021 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships in Montemor-O-Velho, Portugal, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Canoe Sprint Olympic Center.
Alina Neumiarzhytskaya and Raman Zakharanka won the K2 U23 Mix 500 event.
Raman Zakharanka and Uladzislau Kravets won gold in the K2 U23 Men 500. Uladzislau Kravets claimed bronze in the K1 U23 Men 1000.
Veranika Leaniuk and Maryia Kavalenka won K2 U23 Women 200 and took bronze in K2 U23 Women 500.
Aliaksandr Zubok and Ilya Burkanau clinched silver in C2 Jun Men 500.
Belarus placed sixth in the medal table. The top three included Hungary (17-5-7), Russia (9-4-9), and Germany (5-8-5).
