MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – The international synchronized swimming competitions, held as part of the first stage of the Solidarity Games tournament, came to an end in Kazan, Russia, BelTA has learned.
On the final day of the competition the athletes from Belarus won five medals. Vasilina Khandoshka and Daria Kulagina were second in the free duet program. The day before the Belarusians also won silver in the technical program, gold medals in both events went to Russia's Varvara Subbotina and Svetlana Kolesnichenko.
In the free junior duet program Monika Vashkevich and Anastasiya Bernat took silver, and Ksenia Lebedeva and Valeryia Shimanskaya were third. The Belarusian team won bronze in the women's free group program. The Belarusian junior team was second in the same discipline.
