MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Belarus clinched bronze in the 3x3 Basketball Friendship League, BelTA has learned.
In the final round of the event that took place in Russia’s Smolensk, Natalia Anufriyenko’s team beat Russia’s Krasnaya Pakhra 14-7 and MSU 14-12, but lost in the semifinal. COP-Petersburg won the tournament.
The Belarusian team comprised Anna Lappo, Ulyana Skiba from Olympia from Grodno and Polina Katlinskaya from Horizont.
BC Minsk beat BC Barsy Atyrau 21-11 and the Russian Vikings 17-14, but lost to Arsenal 14-21 to finish 5th. The champion title went to Arsenal that beat Samara 18-13 in the final.
