Belarus win 24 medals on BRICS Games 2024 day two 

MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) –Belarus won seven gold, six silver and 11 bronze medals on the second competition day at BRICS Games 2024 in Kazan, Russia on 14 June, BelTA has learned.

The BRICS Games 2024 champion titles went to Vasilina Khandoshka (artistic swimming solo free), Yahor Sharamkou (floor exercise), Mikita Karneyeu and Alena Furman (lightweight single sculls), Daniela Dzhan (64kg sambo), Karyna Shut (80kg sambo), Darya Naumava (81kg weightlifting).

Silver medals were collected by David Nguyen (75kg karate), Yulian Kurlovich (89kg weightlifting), Dziyana Moiseyevich (71kg weightlifting), Anzhela Zhylinskaya (72kg sambo) Valeryia Khrushchova (+80kg sambo), Marharyta Kiryliuk and Valeryia Valasach (artistic swimming duet free). 

Bronze medals were clinched by Daniil Patachyts (88kg sambo), Dzmitry Khakhlou (+98kg sambo), Viktoryia Vasilyeva (single sculls), Veranika Anatsko and Palina Zalatarova (double sculls), Siarhei Valadzko and Dzmitry Furman (double sculls), Yaraslau Krutou (floor exercise), Alena Tsitavets (bars), Palina Paguliayeva (71kg weightlifting), Viktoryia Ruzhenchanka (kata), the men’s table tennis team, and the artistic swimming technical team. 

Belarus goes with 37 (8-13-16) medals after two competition days. 49 medal events are scheduled for day three.
