
MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) - Belarus won 15 medals at the Russian Track Cycling Championships in St. Petersburg, BelTA learned.
On the final day of the six-day championships, Belarusians Polina Konrad and Iryna Chuyankova clocked the second result in the U22 Madison, an endurance track cycling event raced by teams of two. Their compatriots Adelina Sakun and Alina Korotkina closed the top three. This program was won by the girls from St. Petersburg. Artem Borushkov and Ilya Vitko placed third in the U18 event.
All in all, Team Belarus won 15 medals (9 silver and 6 bronze) in St. Petersburg.
