MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Belarus will take on Norway at the start of the Men's EHF EURO 2022 Qualifiers on 5 January, BelTA has learned.
In the opener Yuri Shevtsov's men will play Norway at the Uruchye Sport Center in Minsk. The return leg is due in Norway on 8 January. Norway have already played their opener in Pescara defeating Italy 39-24. The group will also feature Latvia.
After the games with Norway Belarus will head for Egypt to take part in the World Men's Handball Championship slated for 14-31 January. In preliminary Group H Belarus will face Russia (14 January), South Korea (16 January), and Slovenia (18 January). The three best teams from each of eight groups will advance into the playoffs.
