MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) - The Belarus national futsal team is set to hold their second match at the 2025 Continental Futsal Championship in Thailand on 30 July, BelTA has learned.
In their second Group B preliminary round match, the Belarusian squad will face Australia (kickoff at 13:00, live broadcast on Belarus 5 TV channel).
On 29 July, Belarus secured a solid win, 4-0, against Zambia, Australia lost to Saudi Arabia 1-3. On 31 July, Belarus will take on Saudi Arabia.
In Group A Thailand whitewashed Chinese Taipei 3-0.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the semifinals. The knockout matches for a place in the final will be held on 2 August, with the championship medal games taking place on 3 August.
For the Belarusian team, this tournament serves as the first stage of preparations for the UEFA Futsal Euro 2026, set to be held in early 2026 across venues in Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovenia.
