MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – The quarterfinal stage is kicking off at the UEFA Women’s Champions League, BelTA has learned.
Svetlana Grinkevich of Belarus will serve as a UEFA delegate at the match between VfL Wolfsburg Women and reigning champion FC Barcelona Femení in Germany on 19 March. The Belarusian became a UEFA delegate in 2009 and since then she has been working at the most prestigious tournaments, including the Champions League, the Europa League. In 2016 she became the first female to serve as a delegate at the UEFA European Football Championship. In 2018 she represented the UEFA in the Women’s Champions League final. Svetlana Grinkevich is deputy head of the international legal department of the Belarusian Football Federation.
The first quarterfinal matches of the UEFA Women’s Champions League will be played on 18 March. The second-leg matches will be played on 26-27 March. The semifinals are scheduled for 19-20 April and 26-27 April. The final is due to take place in Lisbon on 24 May.
