MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes are taking part as neutrals in the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha, the capital of Qatar, BelTA has learned.
Ilya Shymanovich of Belarus clocked the best time of 26.66 to qualify for the Men 50m Breaststroke final. Nic Fink of the United States showed the same time.
The Men 50m Breaststroke final will take place later on Tuesday. Alina Zmushka will compete for the Women 100m Breaststroke medals on 13 February as well.
Tuesday program will feature five medal events. The 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Qatar will be over on 18 February.
