MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian national ice hockey team secured a second victory at the 2022 European Youth Olympic Festival in Finland, BelTA learned from the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
After defeating Russia and losing to Finland, Andrei Mikhalev's team took a win over Latvia.
The Latvian team took the lead in the 20th minute of the game. The second period was a tight but goalless action. The final frame Belarusians did well scoring twice.
Belarus will next the Czech Republic on 17 December.
