MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes went off to a good start at the 2022 Russian Open Shooting Cup, BelTA has learned.
Belarus clinched its first medals in the mixed 10m rifle event. The Belarusian duo of Uladzislava Pranko and Illia Charheika took silver finishing behind the Russian tandem from Orenburg Tatiana Kharkova and Sergei Burlutski. Bronze went to Belarus' Maria Martynova and Illia Charheika.
The tournament is taking place at Lisya Nora (Fox Lodge), a shooting range in Dmitrovsky District, Moscow Oblast. Taking part in the event are 300 athletes including 19 representatives of Belarus. The tournament will be over on 18 August.
