MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to assist Russia in supplying sports outfit and other sports gear for competitions, TASS reports.
Anatoly Sinkevich, Representative of the Committee for Sport Industry Development at the Business Center for CIS Economic Development in Belarus spoke on the matter as part of the discussion “Sport Diplomacy: Time of Great Opportunities” at the forum “Health of the Nation is the Basis of Russia's Prosperity”.
“The manufacturing of goods in the current difficult times involves cooperation within the CIS, departments, and today the Russian and Belarusian sports ministries actively cooperate. Now we are preparing for the Spartakiade in various sports. We are ready to provide all possible assistance in supplying sports gear, outfit and directly in organizational issues,” said Anatoly Sinkevich.
The Summer Spartakiade will take place in Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg on 20-29 August.
