MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Vasilina Khandoshka has won a gold medal in the Super Final stage of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup 2025 in Xi’an, China, BelTA has learned.
On Sunday, 15 June as many as ten female athletes participated in the Women Solo Free event. They had been selected as a result of the three previous World Cup stages. Vasilina Khandoshka’s performance earned her 229.8476 points and a gold medal. She was two points ahead of Germany’s Klara Bleyer and three points ahead of China’s Huiyan Xu. Vasilina Khandoshka had come in third during the Women Solo Technical event previously.
During the World Cup 2025 the Belarusian athlete has won a total of six individual awards (1-1-4). During the first stage held in France in late February – early March Vasilina Khandoshka won a silver and a bronze. The second stage held in Egypt netted two bronze medals. Later on female synchronized swimmers will compete during the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore in late July. Vasilina Khandoshka won a medal at the planetary forum a year ago.
