Belarus’ Khandoshka into Women Solo Technical final in Doha

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes are taking part in the 2024 World Aquatics Championships which are underway in Doha, the capital of Qatar, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.

On the opening day 28 athletes took part in the Women Solo Technical qualifying. Twelve of them reached the final, including Vasilina Khandoshka of Belarus. The Belarusian scored 253.1917 points to place fifth. The final is scheduled for 3 February.

The 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Qatar will be over on 18 February. Athletes will compete for medals in artistic swimming, diving (2-10 February), open water (3-8 February), water polo (4-17 February), high diving (13-15 February), and swimming (11-18 February). Anastasiya Kuliashova, Alina Zmushka, Anastasiya Shkurdai and Ilya Shimanovich will compete for Team Belarus.
