MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The Lokosphinx cycling center in St. Petersburg is hosting the Russian Cycling Championship with the participation of Belarusian athletes, BelTA has learned.
The fifth day of the competitions featured a number of cycling events. Hanna Tserakh of Belarus won gold in women's scratch (40 laps), Belarus' Alina Korotkina came second. Hanna Tserakh also took silver in the women's elimination race, bringing her total number of medals of the tournament to four. The men's scratch silver went to leader of the Belarusian national team Yauheni Karaliok.
The Russian Cycling Championship will be over on 17 October with keirin and madison events. Belarus currently go with ten (2-6-2) medals.
