MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian team finished second in the Women 4x6 Relay at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon which kicked off in Nove Mesto na Morave, the Czech Republic on 4 March, BelTA has learned.
Iryna Kryuko, Dzinara Alimbekava, Hanna Sola and Elena Kruchinkina took silver (zero penalties + 9 spare rounds) finishing 1.2 seconds behind the winner. Gold went to Sweden's team of Mona Brorsson, Hanna Oeberg, Linn Persson and Elvira Oeberg (1:03.26.6; 0+6). Third was the French team of Anais Bescond, Justine Braisaz, Chloe Chevalier, Julia Simon, 27.8 seconds back (1+8).
The Men 4x7.5 Relay is scheduled for 5 March.
